Seal-in Circuit with Start–Stop Control from Three Locations

What is start-stop from three locations?
It is a seal-in circuit that lets one motor be started and stopped from three separate places. Each location has a start and a stop button. The motor can be started from any location and stopped from any location.
Where is it used?
It is used on long conveyor and belt lines, in large workshops and warehouses, on feeding lines in agricultural and livestock facilities, and on systems where the operator can be at the start or end of the machine. Being able to stop the motor from the nearest point in an emergency is also important for safety.
Power circuit and control circuit
The power circuit is a single motor's direct-on-line starter. The heart of the circuit is how the start buttons and the stop buttons are connected to each other in the control circuit. Once this is learned, the number of locations can be increased to two, four or more with the same logic.
What to watch out for
Because the buttons are moved to remote points, the control cables get longer; cable size and control voltage are chosen accordingly. Remote button stations on site need a protection rating suitable for moisture and impact.
