Two-Liquid Mixer with a PLC

What is a two-liquid mixer with a PLC?
It is a PLC-controlled process application in which two different liquids are filled into a tank one after the other, mixed and drained. The tank has three level sensors, two filling pumps, a mixer motor and a drain valve.
Where is it used?
It is used in mixing tanks in the food, beverage, chemical, paint, detergent and cosmetics industries. Real processes also control ratios, times and temperatures according to a recipe.
PLC wiring and ladder program
The three motors run from PLC outputs through motor protection breakers and contactors; the valve is also on an output. Steps are tracked in the program with memory bits. Programming a process step by step is the first stage of moving to advanced PLC work.
What to watch out for
Decide in advance which step the system continues from if power fails during the process. The motor protection breakers are set to each motor's current.
